Terms of Service & User Agreement
1. Introduction
Welcome to Gears To Goals. By accessing our platform (the "Site") and using our services (Car Sales, Car Hire, Inspection, and Parts), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, vendors, and users.
2. Nature of the Platform
Gears To Goals acts strictly as a digital intermediary. We provide a marketplace for third-party sellers (Vendors) to list vehicles. We do not own, possess, or guarantee the condition of vehicles listed by vendors unless explicitly certified via our official Inspection service.
3. User & Vendor Obligations
Vendors are solely responsible for the legality, safety, and accuracy of their listings. Any attempt to list stolen vehicles, fraudulent parts, or engage in deceptive practices will result in an immediate ban and reporting to relevant Kenyan authorities.
4. Car Hire & Test Drives
Users booking "Car Hire" or "Test Drives" do so at their own risk. It is the responsibility of the Vendor to verify the user's Valid Kenyan Driving License and insurance coverage before handing over a vehicle.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Gears To Goals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or mechanical damages arising from transactions conducted on the platform. All vehicles are sold or hired "As-Is" between the buyer and seller.
6. Data Protection (DPA 2019)
Your privacy is paramount. We process data in strict accordance with the Kenyan Data Protection Act (2019). We do not sell user data to third parties for marketing purposes.
